Tinkerbell Wall Tutu

About 2 years ago when we moved into the new house we painted Madison's walls and put up some Tinkerbell decals. Today, I want to show you a small portion of Madison's room.

On all of the Tinkerbell Decals we added Tutus :)

Don't you just L♥VE it?

I hand painted all of Tinkerbells pixie dust and place a rhinestone in the middle of each one while the paint was still wet. This was a very time consuming project but totally worth it.

I did add a tutu to this Tinkerbell decal, but I took the picture before I put it on her.

The pictures do not do justice. I took these pictures 2 years ago. I'm being lazy today and I'm not wanting to go in there and take more pictures. Hahaha sorry!

Madison has this dress and wings hanging up on her wall.

Dont you just love having none traditional decor on walls? I love the idea of putting pom poms, sequins, rhinestones, and, of course, tutus on the walls!

Any other ideas on what you would put on your wall?

For the past few years I've enjoyed COLOR SPLASHING my photos. I've been asked many times how do I do it, so I figured I share with the blog world if you do not already know.

Go to PHOTOBUCKET and upload the picture you want to Color Splash.

Click the EFFECTS tab

Click the GREYSCALE button

Your picture will now be black & white

Click the ADVANCED OPTIONS button. A box will pop up

From the drop down menu APPLY TO PAINTED REGION.

This will turn your picture back to color.

Click the INVERT box to turn your picture back to black and white.

Click the ORGINAL button.

Select your brush size and start painting where you want your COLOR SPLASH

TIP: Zoom in and out and change the SIZE of your brush as needed to get all the details

When you are done with you COLOR SPLASH click APPLY and SAVE your picture.

Yes, you can right click SAVE the picture to your computer and upload it to Walgreens to order a print, but images larger than 5x7 do not come out nice due to low resolution pixel count.

Just Add Wings!

My daughter had her heart set on the Wacky Witch costume once I made it.

I made it a few months ago to have it in my 2009 Halloween Line and she never changed her mind, even when I tried to talk her into being a Tiger to match her brother's costume.

Then, Halloween day she decided to change it up and become something I've never heard of, a Fairy Witch. Wow, the great imagination of a 4 year old. Combining a fairy and a witch equals an adorable idea

All I had to do was take the orginal Wacky Witch costume and add a few strands of lime green tulle to tie it all together, then add a pair of lime green wings.

I LOVE IT!

Welcome to Tutu Fairy's first blog post!

My name is Raychel (Ray-Shell) Kennedy and I am a Mother of a BEAUTIFUL four-year-old girl with another MIRACLE baby Boy on the way. As of today, I am 25 weeks pregnant.

I've been selling tutu's for over 4 years and now is the time I have decided to start a Tutu Boutique. It will include Tutus, Tutu Costumes, Shirts, Monogrammed Shirts, Tube Socks, Leg Warmers, Mommy & Me Shirts, Toddler Boy Shirts, Shoe Clips, Hair Bows, and more.

I have so many ideas that keep me awake every night and it's time to let them out to play!
